Patient survey results about the program have been overwhelmingly positive, with 89% of respondents reporting that MyChart Bedside helped them to understand their medications better and 71% reporting that it helped them communicate better with their care team. – MyChart secure email improves outcomes and patient-centered care. KP found patient-physician email is associated with a 2 to 6.5% improvement in HEDIS measures. - MyChart positively impacts patient loyalty and member satisfaction. Beyond the increase of biomedical information are rising demands for physician response to portal messaging ( MyChart messages) and review of wearable generated data. More recently health professionals have seen a rise in MyChart messages coming in through the Epic patient portal. After shifting back to an extensible MyChart, we refocused our resources on adoption and optimization of standard MyChart features . This has led to a substantial improvement in patient portal activation and engagement. We have more than 1.6 million active MyMountSinai users. For those who are unfamiliar, Presence Health MyChart is an online service that allows patients to access their medical records, schedule appointments, message their physicians, and even pay their bills.
